What a great day the kids had! It was Mrs. Clapper's birthday so the class was able to work on a dot to dot happy birthday card for Mrs. Clapper and even enjoy a special birthday treat! The class was again able to work in centers again today and I was pleased to see them choosing new things to explore. Making patterns, painting and even working with matching up dominoes. Math has been fun. We are working on right and left and which hand is which. I placed a sticker or a stamp on their right hand and we played the hokey pokey to practice right and left. The students had calendar time and we went through the new month and day. They have been learning to read the words "I" and "am". The students also had Library today. Overall it was a great day! Thank you for all the love and support you show your child everyday! ~Mrs. Hansen
